Conversation “ relaxing , outing, socialize, leisure activities, event attend”




Teacher : hi manta , how is your day going so far?

Manta : for my day, its really bad because my body is feeling sick

Teacher : im sorry to hear that , manta I hope you feel better soon. Maybe talking about  some relaxing activities can help take your mind off things lets start of the relaxation, relaxation is when you do things to feel calm and happy. It can be reading a book, listening to music or taking a walk, do you have a favorite way to relax ?

Manta : maybe its my favorite way to relax is having coffee in the coffee shop make my brain very fresh and coffee make me get some inspiration for what i to do make it some planning

Teacher : the sounds like a nice way to relax ! going to a coffee shop can be very refreshing, lets practice with this idea, try putting this sentence in the correct order “ coffee shop/I/in/the/like/to, give it try

Manta : i like to relax in the coffee shop

Teacher : great try manta, now lets try a fill the blanks exercises “ I go to the coffee shop to … and plan for tomorrow , what word would you put in the blank ?

Manta : I go to coffee shop to enjoy and make plan for tomorrow

Teacher : nice job manta, you filled in the blank perfectly , can you tell me one hobby you enjoy ?

Manta : my hobby is reading the book because reading the book make my brain is fresh and I can learn about new knowledge about the book that I read and from the book Iam get more inspiration and very fulfilling

Teaher : reading is a wonderful hobby, it sounds like you get a lot of inspiration and knowledge from it, lets practice making a shorter sentence about your hobby , try this “ I enjoy reading because…, what would you add to a complete sentence ?

Manta : I enjoy reading the books because I can learn new knowledge and I get more inpiration from the book my brain is piece

Teacher : great effort manta ! here’s a slightly shorter version “ I enjoy reading books because I can  learn new things and get inspiration” now lets try another exercise. Can you make a sentence about outing you like? For example going to park or visiting museum.

Manta : usually, I like going to the rice fild to meet some cows , feeding some cows , to feeding my chikens , sometime I go fishing too



Teacher : the sounds like a peaceful and enjoyable outing! Spending time in the rice field with animals must be very relaxing, lets practice with a fill in the blank “ I go to the rice field to … the cows and …my chikens” what would you use to fill in the blanks ?

Manta : feeding the cow and feeding my chicken

Teacher : welldone manta ! you filled the blanks perfectly, now lets talk about socializing, socializing is when you spend time with friends or family. Can you tell me about a time you enjoyed socializing ?

Manta : when we socialize , I can socialize when im in the wedding ceremony, when im in wedding ceremony, I met some people there, im talked about about my experience in the past. What I did. I met my brothers, meet a lot of family and I really can sozicalize in the wedding.





Teacher : it sounds like you have a lot of oppurunities to meet people at weddings! Lets practice making a sentence about socializing at a wedding, try this “ at wedding I … with family and friends”, what word would you  use to fill in the blank?

Manta : socially

Teacher : almost there manta ! the word “ socialize “ fit best in this sentence. So it would be “ at the wedding , I socialize with my family and my friends” lets try another exercise can you make a sentence about leisure activity you enjoy, like a watching a movie or playing a game? Can make a sententce about a leisure activity you enjoy, like watching a movie or playing a game?

Manta : yes I will tell you about my leisure activity, for my leisure activitiy I doing watch youtube about English and reading book, iam really  enjoy with that activity.

Teacher : that sounds like a great way to spend your leisure time! Watching videos and reading books can really help improve your English. Lets practice making a shorter sentence “ in my leisure time, I enjoy…and …” what activities would you put in the blanks ?

Manta : in my leisure time. I enjoy watching youtube and reading the book

Teacher : perfect manta! You did great job with a sentence. Lets try one more exercise can you make a sentence about an event you like yo attend. Like a concert or a festival?

Manta : yes for that event I like, I like watching concerts especially one of favorite band in Indonesia, its for ravange, its good band and the song very very  deep, they talk about love and very good performance, I like their performance when they sing a song and I love it



Teacher : the sounds like a wonderful experience, enjoying a concert from your favorite band must be very exciting. Lets make a shorter sentence “. What would you fill in the blank with ?

Manta : I love going going to concerts to see for revenge

Teacher : you’ve done a great job practicing today! Let’s move on the speaking practice in the next session.
